Did you know a feeling of your ears being ‘blocked’ may not be due to excess earwax?

An ear health consultation includes a case history and a thorough examination of both ears. If no wax is found in either of your ears, an explanation of the findings will be offered to you. We will then give you advice on what the possible cause of this could be and will offer information about your possible next steps. This appointment lasts approximately 20-30 minutes.

This appointment includes the ear health consultation, plus if after examining your ears, a blockage of excess earwax is found in either one or both ears, we can remove it for you in the comfort of your own home or place of work. This appointment lasts approximately 30-45 minutes.

Using ‘syringe-free’ microsuction, earwax is gently vacuumed out of the ear under direct supervision with the help of the highly regarded Vorotek O Scope convergent optics system.

We are specialist trained and accredited by The Hearing Lab (Ltd) to perform microsuction and have also undergone further expert training with Mr Neel Raithatha (Consultant Audiologist) at Clearwax (Ltd).

This appointment includes the ear health consultation, plus if after examining your ears, a foreign body is found to be present in one or both of your ears, we can gently and safely remove it for you. This appointment also includes earwax removal where required. This appointment lasts approximately 30-45 minutes.

This was a process previously only reserved for ENT doctors, but this procedure can now safely be carried out in the comfort of your own home or place of work.

Using the Vorotek O Scope optics system we can gently use any number of ENT micro-instruments to safely facilitate the removal of the foreign body.

Foreign bodies can include but are not limited to; the end of a cotton bud, a hearing aid dome end, a hearing aid battery or an insect (yes, really!).
